The contract is between the client and Lauren Ann Design Studio By using my services you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:
1. FLORAL
Whilst I will endeavor to source all Floral & Greenery as quoted for, I cannot be held responsible in the event of our suppliers not being able to source same type or colour. I will always try to substitute with Floral as similar as possible. I do not take any responsibility for any Florals or Greenery wilting due to extreme heat, wind or elements beyond my control - or lasting beyond +-8 hours in Oasis (once the water had evaporated).
2. PAYMENT TERMS
A non-refundable 50% deposit of your approved Quotation is payable to secure our Services & Décor. The remainder will be due 3 weeks before your Wedding or Event, after which, no further changes can be made.
3. BROKEN OR LOST ITEMS
In the event that an item is lost or returned damaged, soiled, or in an irreparable condition, the hirer will be responsible for the FULL replacement cost.
4. SET UP
Lauren Ann Design Studio is only booked and paid to set up the Florals, Décor, Stationery and any items that I personally provide and that are listed on your Final Quotation. I do not set up any external suppliers or personal items (unless previously organised directly with me). This has to be organised with your venue staff, the Wedding Party or an independent Staffing Solution Company.
5. LIABILITY
I accept no liability for any occurrence, however caused, to any person as a result of this Contract Agreement UNLESS negligence on my part can be proven.
6. CANCELLATION
In the event that the contract is cancelled for any reason whatsoever, the deposit paid is non-refundable. Any refund of any other payments made in terms of the contract will be entirely at my discretion. Please note: When I secure your particular date with your deposit I do subsequently turn away other event bookings for that date.
7. MINIMUM SPEND
Please note I do have a minimum spend of R15 000 in order to secure our services for your Event Date.
8. MOCK UPS
I do not usually do Mock Ups due to the fact that I only use Flowers and Greenery that are in season at the exact time of your Wedding. I stay as close to your Colour Palette, References and Style as seasonally possible and will send you a list and photos of these Flowers with your Quotation and ask that you please trust me as a creative professional. I do have an extensive Gallery of previous work, multiple references in this Gallery of every floral element quoted on and an ever growing Testimonial page.
